Support
How can we help?
PulseKernel is an iPhone dashboard for live CPU activity, Apple thermal pressure, battery state, app memory, storage, network throughput, and a rolling hour of foreground history.
Contact support
Email contact@iphonotype.com. Include your PulseKernel version, iOS version, iPhone model, what you expected, and the steps that reproduce the issue.
Common questions
- CPU readings need a moment: keep the app open for about three seconds while it establishes a scheduler baseline.
- History has gaps: PulseKernel samples only in the foreground. iOS suspends ordinary apps in the background, so gaps are expected.
- Long sessions: enable Keep Screen Awake, leave PulseKernel visible, and connect the iPhone to power.
- Network values are throughput estimates: PulseKernel reads aggregate byte counters and does not inspect destinations or packet contents.
- No numeric temperature or GPU percentage: iOS exposes thermal pressure states, not chip temperature or whole-device GPU utilization.
- Battery health and cycle count are manual: enter the values shown in iPhone Settings as an optional local reference.
- Storage can differ from Settings: available capacity may include purgeable space iOS can make available for important use.
Compatibility
PulseKernel requires iOS 17 or later and is designed for iPhone. Physical iPhone hardware gives the most representative readings.
